About us

A practice built by someone who had to rebuild her own

Harvest Wealth Financial is a client-centric practice working with individuals and businesses to achieve their financial objectives. It is also, unavoidably, a personal one — because the reason it works the way it does is what happened to the woman who runs it.

The firm

No two people are alike, so no two plans should be

Harvest Wealth Financial invites you to discover the personal side of investment management. It is a client-centric practice working with individuals and businesses, on the principle that your assets should be managed against your own goals, your own risk tolerance and your own dreams — not a model portfolio’s.

What makes it unusual is not the philosophy. Plenty of firms say that. It is the method underneath it: the practice starts from the life, and only then works back to the money.

Dr. Nicole opens every first conversation with the same question — if money weren’t an issue, what would you be doing with your life? Not because the numbers do not matter, but because most people arrive afraid of them. In her words: “I want to talk about everything else before I get down to the nitty gritty of the numbers.”

The result is a practice where, by her own account, the majority of business has arrived by referral — and one where the presenting problem is very often not really a money problem at all.

How it happened

Thirty-five years, in order

The site does not separate the planner from the pastor from the speaker, because the sequence below is why they cannot be separated.
  1. 1991

    Enters the securities industry

Thirty-five years ago, and the start of everything that follows. Series 7, 63 and 65.

  2. 2000

    Earns the CFP® designation

College for Financial Planning, October 2000.

  3. 2001

September 11 — the South Tower

Her office was on the 73rd floor. She was on the 44th when the tower was struck. She survived, and the practice she had built did not.

  4. 2016

Becomes Pastor of Micah 7 Ministries

Plainfield, New Jersey. The pastoral work and the financial work turn out to be the same work: people in crisis, needing a next step.

  5. 2020

    Doctorate, Boston University

Conferred with top honors. Doctoral work in trauma-informed care — academic rigor under what she had already been practicing for nineteen years.

  6. Today

    Advisor, author, pastor, speaker

One practice built on the connection between what happens to people and what happens to their money.

A couple reviewing financial documents with an advisor at a table.

Who we serve

Who this practice is built for

Her published planning profile is specific, and deliberately so — it saves everybody a call that was never going to fit:

  • Individuals or couples ages 40–60
  • Household income of $150,000+ — most clients are in the $250,000–$400,000 range
  • Hybrid income: you earn both W2 and 1099 income
  • Able and willing to commit at least a few hundred dollars per month — often $500–$750+
  • You want to delegate complexity and work with a CFP®

That profile is not a gate. In her own words: “We gladly accept referrals from our clients for their family, friends, and colleagues — regardless of present financial position.” Most of the practice has come by referral for thirty-five years, and that is not going to stop because someone does not match a bullet point.

I am credentialed, I’m credible, and I’m called.

Start with a conversation, not a statement

Bring the situation, not the spreadsheets. She starts every first conversation with where you want to go, not what you have.
