Financial Freedom Planning Program

Who This Program Is For

This program is designed for:

  • Individuals or couples ages 40–60

  • Household income of $150,000+ (most clients are in the $250,000–$400,000 range)

  • Hybrid income: you earn both W2 and 1099 income (consulting, side business, moonlighting, board/advisory work, speaking, etc.)

  • Able and willing to commit at least a few hundred dollars per month—often $500–$750+—toward a longterm financial freedom strategy

  • You want to delegate complexity and work with a CFP® who coordinates taxes, savings, investments, and strategy

We work with clients across the United States, primarily via video, with inperson meetings where feasible.

Referral Philosophy:
While this program is designed around the profile above, we gladly accept referrals from our clients for their family, friends, and colleagues—regardless of present financial position. We value relationships first and will always do our best to be helpful, even if someone is not an immediate fit for this program.

Program Goals

The Financial Freedom Planning Program is built to help you:

  • Turn hybrid W2/1099 income into a clear, taxefficient plan

  • Know exactly how much to save, where it should go, and why

  • Coordinate your taxes, benefits, investments, and business/side income

  • Stay on track with ongoing accountability and adjustments

In short: move from “I hope it works out” to a structured, realistic path to financial freedom.

Step 1:
Initial Planning Engagement

(60–90 Days)

Every new client begins with a focused planning phase. Together we:

  • Clarify your goals: financial freedom, retirement, debt, lifestyle, family priorities

  • Review your W2 and 1099 income, benefits, and business/sidegig structure

  • Analyze cash flow and taxes to find opportunities and fix pain points

  • Set a realistic monthly savings target (often $500–$750+ per month

  • Review your investment and retirement accounts (401(k), IRAs, solo 401(k)/SEP, brokerage, etc.)

  • Identify key risks (insurance, estate basics) at a high level

  • Deliver a written Financial Freedom Roadmap with clear, prioritized action steps

Initial Planning Fee
Most households invest $1,500–$4,000 for this initial engagement, depending on complexity.
You receive a fixed quote after our introductory call, before any work begins.

Step 2:
Ongoing Financial Planning & Advice

After the initial plan, many clients continue in an annual planning relationship.

You receive:

  • At least 2 planning meetings per year via video (or in person where feasible)

  • A total of 4–6 points of communication per year, which may include:

    • Review meetings

    • Checkin calls

    • Scheduled touchpoints around tax time, income changes, or major decisions

  • Ongoing, taxaware planning around your W2 and 1099 income

  • Regular adjustments to your savings and investment strategy as life and income evolve

  • Coordination with your CPA and/or attorney as needed

  • Email/phone/video access for questions throughout the year

Ongoing Planning Fee

  • Annual planning fee, typically $1,500–$4,000 per year, based on complexity

  • Billed quarterly

  • Formally renewed each year, so we revisit your goals, the scope of work, and the fee together

Optional: Investment Management with ThirdParty Managers

If you want to fully delegate investment management, we integrate portfolio management with your plan using independent thirdparty money managers.

You receive:

  • Portfolio design aligned with your goals, time horizon, and risk tolerance

  • Selection and oversight of thirdparty money managers

  • Implementation, monitoring, and rebalancing of your accounts

  • Coordination of investment strategy with your overall financial freedom plan

Investment Management Fee

  • Investment management fees generally range from 1.00% to 1.75% of assets under management,
depending on the manager, strategy, and account size

  • Fees are deducted directly from the investment accounts we manage

Your financial planning fees and investment management fees are separate and clearly disclosed, so you always know exactly what you’re paying for.
